Shipping: Cost is calculated by your location at checkout. First Class Ground shipping with a tracking number to USA it's generally about $5, and around $10 for Priority with $50 insurance. We can fit quite a few items in one package for no additional cost, especially if a few of them are wrapped up in the same box.

Additional insurance is highly recommended, especially on higher priced and one-of-a-kind items.

We now ship to Canada through UPS and the shipping is generally around $20.  If you are outside our regular shipping area and are interested in purchasing an item, please contact us and we will do our best! Some countries are not included due to unreliable networks or import regulations. Lierreworks is not responsible for lost or stolen items and import fees.

Arrival Time: Please allow 2-3 business days for ready-to-ship items to receive a final polish, be wrapped up, and posted in the mail. For made-to-order items, please allow 3-4 weeks of fabrication time. Michelle is a mom of three young kids and only works while they are napping or at school. Occasionally she has some made-to-order items that are nearly complete and those will ship out a little bit sooner. If timing is an issue, please email her or message her over instagram and facebook. See Custom Orders for more information on arrival & production times specifically for custom made designs.

Packaging: Every item comes elegantly wrapped and includes a small square of polishing cloth to help maintain a beautiful finish on your jewelry. If you would like to forgo the box, ribbon & tissue, please include a note with your order that you would like minimal packaging.

Returns & Repairs: Returns are handled on a case by case basis. If there is something defective with your piece, upon receiving it, we will gladly allow return of the piece or repair, (within reason after evaluation), if the fault is on our behalf. Please contact Michelle within 5 days of receiving your item, if this is the case.

Buyers remorse is not an acceptable reason for return. We do not cut our own stones or gems, so if it gets cracked or broken Michelle may not be able to fit it with a new stone. Repairs after 5 days of receiving your item will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Repairs are often expensive so take care to be gentle with your jewelry.
Jewelry Care: We recommend that you remove your jewelry when bathing, swimming or exercising. Avoid sprays, oils, and lotions directly on your piece. Naturally occurring chemical reactions over time will "age" your piece. This is called a natural patina. You can slow the natural patina process by storing your jewelry in separate plastic bags and inserting an anti tarnish strip into each bag. These can be found on amazon and are relatively inexpensive.
Use the polishing pad or cloth included with your purchase to buff the piece as needed. Lierreworks uses a silver dip cleaner by Hagerty on many of her pieces, to remove the patina in unreachable spots. It can be purchased for about $10 on Amazon. Follow the instructions on the label for recommendations on stones that could be damaged. Feel free to email or message us with any questions as well, if you aren't sure. Wash item with warm water, dish soap, and sometimes a soft toothbrush (will scratch mirror finish), prior to and after dipping in cleaner. You can find a short demo video on cleaning your silver jewelry in Instagram here.

Sustainability: The environment is important to us. Lierreworks strives to use ethically sourced materials and stones as much as possible, and that includes recycling our own scrap silver and gold into new and beautiful designs and sourcing our metal from a refiner located in the USA.

Stones are purchased as local as possible from rockhunters, community gem shows, and sometimes estates. Higher priced, faceted stones are generally purchased through reputable, fair-trade sources like Columbia Gem House and Haus of Stones. Nearly all the padding like bubble wrap from incoming supply orders are saved and re-used in our own packages.

Supporting Small & Local Businesses: Lierreworks supports many other small businesses through supply orders, tool purchases, patronage and online tutorials. Some of them include Pepe Tools USA, Oregon Trail Silver, Stamp Yours, Metalsmith Society, Marquis Jewelry Academy, London Jewellery School, Melted Metal Co, NC Black Tools, Flow Studio Supply, Rosy Revolver, Columbia Gem House, Lemon & Birch Creative Design. Lion Punch Forge, Pacific Crest Creatives, and many more.
